Welcome to the Lighting Research Center's Lighting Education Online registration and payment page. This page gives your registration and payment options for Lighting Education Online courses.
Course Pricing
There are three price categories for each Lighting Education Online course:
- A discounted price for New York State residents. To take courses for this price both the "shipping" address and "billing" address that you provide on your registration form must be within New York State. This discount is available to New York State residents because the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) provided funding for the development of Lighting Education Online.
- A discounted price for LRC Partner organizations. To take courses for this price, registrants must be an employee of an LRC Partner Organization. To learn more about the LRC Partner program, click here.
- The full course price for all other course registrants.
Payment Options
You may register and pay for Lighitng Education Online courses in 1 of 2 ways:
- By sending your name, address, and email address along with a check or money order made payable to LRC/RPI:

Your password to access the Lighting Education Online course that you wish to take will be emailed to you upon receipt of your payment.
- By selecting one of the options below to register and pay online with your Visa or MasterCard. If you are purchasing the course online, you will be able to download the username and password from your order confirmation page. During the order process, Question 3 will ask you to choose your shipping options. You must select DOWNLOADABLE. You will be provided access to the Online Course from your order confirmation page via a hyperlink. You can begin taking the course immediately.
Note on Use of Course Password
The password that you receive to access each Lighting Education Online course is confidential and is provided for your own personal use. Use of course passwords will be monitored by the LRC. Any unauthorized use of a password will result in the inactivation of that password. Passwords for the lighting technology course will remain active for a period of six months from the date of purchase. Passwords for the Residential Lighting course will remain active for one year from the date of purchase.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
At the successful completion of a course, a certificate awarding continuing education units (CEUs) will be mailed to the address you have provided in your registration for the course.
